On behalf of Organizing Committee of “In-Depth Meeting 2020”, it is indeed my honour and privilege to welcome you all, to this prestigious ” the 1st In-Depth Meeting 2020” to be held on 12 - 13 December 2020 at the Borobudur hotel, Jakarta.
In-Depth, INASCRS Development Program for Ophthalmologists, is one of the INASCRS programs in disseminating knowledge specifically basic skills in the fields of Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery through comprehensive didactic courses platform. In-Depth meeting aims to encourage especially young and existing Ophthalmologists to learn and become an expert in one of these sectors of Cornea, Cataracts, and Refractive Surgery. In this meeting INASCRS is collaborating with INACORS (Indonesian Cornea Society).
Despite significant scientific advances in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery over last few decades, the knowledge to practice gap still exists due to most of teaching hospitals in our country don’t have dedicated programs to teach them lengthily. The theme of the meeting “Enhancing Clinical Competence” could contribute towards addressing this knowledge to practice gap. A distinguished panel of national and international experts would be sharing their expertise and clinical practice perspectives during this meeting, which would be applicable in your clinical practice. I also believe that, meeting with your friends and sharing of your own clinical practice perspectives with them, would further make this meeting rich in its content, with a win-win situation for all.
